Rachele Lopez’s world was turned upside down after studying abroad in Belize and knew that she wanted more than a classroom could offer so she joined the Peace Corps. Her Mexican candy and tajin helped flavor her 3 years of service in Zambia where she worked in aquaculture projects, but also spent a great deal working in malaria and youth empowerment. Thanks to her experience, Rachel acquired skills that led her to her new job as a Science Program Manager for a Nonprofit in California.
